SO thrilled to be blogging this beauty of a wedding today. I have so much that I love about Madeleine and Tom’s big day. Everything came together beautifully and we worked with so many fantastic vendors that day. Look out for pastel hued florals and expansive table scapes from the talented Little Yellow Flower Design, yummy eats from The Royal Fig, and our new favorite venue in town The Prospect House.
But back to this couple, they were so excited to be marrying one another this bright summer day and love was in the air. It was palpable and their bridal party was AMAZING. A big shout out to a fabulous group of friends who were so helpful and cooperative during photos and the entire evening. I love it when people come together to support one another for the greater good…and that’s what Madeleine and Tom’s wedding day was all about. We were all so happy for them!
The above shot is Madeleine right after she read Tom’s note to her. She knew she was in for a day of happiness and emotions, love her expression here!
And then they were husband and wife!!! Off to The Prospect House we went. This venue is brand, spankin new and we have the distinct privilege and honor to have photographed one of the very first weddings at this gem tucked away in Dripping Springs. Owners Erich and Kathryn built this fortress of clean lines, white walls, and impeccable design this past year and the entire wedding community is DROOLING over this venue. I see this place on social media all the time. You’ll see why with these next photos…you can’t take a bad photograph in this place!
Oh and then there was a mariachi band. I mean, c’mon. They kept knocking it out of the park at this wedding. So much fun!!
Sooo basically as soon as we got to the reception the skies opened up and there was about a 15 minute downpour. No fear, The Prospect House wins again, there are so many beautiful, wide open spaces to take photos. We really lucked out!
But then the rain stopped and we were able to go outside, hooray!
Kind of a big fan of the two photos below! Guests wearing bright colors are always on my list of “a few of my favorite things.”
A huge congrats to the happy couple! Thanks so much for having us along for the ride!!
