One of my greatest joys is photographing people I love and hold dear to my heart. I’ve known Sonia since I was five when we were in the same Daisy troop, my mom was the troop leader and I still remember some of the arts and crafts we did. I will also never forget Sonia’s infamous haircut from that stage…haha, a long time inside joke 😉 The two of us grew up just a few miles apart and were always friends throughout elementary, middle and high school. We even remained in touch throughout college despite being thousands of miles apart.
Sonia and Andy met when Sonia was apartment hunting and Andy worked in the leasing office. They have been absolutely smitten with one another ever since and I love seeing this happy and goofy couple interact with one another. Together they’ve already bought a house and adopted a cute pup named Arnie. I can’t wait for their wedding this upcoming November at Canyonwood Ridge. It will be a blend of western and Indian traditions and I’m so excited for the magic. I’ve even heard rumors that Andy will be arriving at the Indian ceremony on a white horse…um yes please.
I love you Sonia and Andy!!
