Meet Laura and Abe everyone! These two beautiful people met up with me on a warm Austin fall day not too long ago and we had so much fun capturing their engagement photos. When we were in the planning process for their engagement session I asked them what their interests were and what locations they had in mind. Laura came back to me with “we like Mexican food and nature.” AMAZING. I love both those things too and after a bit of thinking I came up with the perfect place to help cross the Mexcian food option off the list. We met at a colorful outdoor patio at a delicious Mexican restaurant on Austin’s east side. It was so colorful and funky…so very Austin. To end the session we hurried over to the boardwalk across the river and captured some lovely shots of Laura and Abe with the water and the pretty pretty city in the background.
Laura and Abe met while they were both attending Rice University in Houston for engineering. They now both reside in St. Louis where Abe is finishing up medical school and Laura is doing research in a biomedical engineering lab. Smarty Smarts!!! In their spare time they enjoy running together and Laura is an avid baker. I can’t wait to capture their big day in May at Vista West Ranch.
