I had the pleasure of capturing Bri and Paul’s beautiful fall wedding this past October and it was such a refreshing and lovely day to be a part of. I remember walking onto the grounds of the venue and being met by the groom and his groomsmen setting up chairs and table settings. There was such a sense of ease and joy and that is always appreciated on any wedding day.
I met with Bri and Paul a month or so before their wedding and loved learning about their love story. These two met while playing World of Warcraft….SO AWESOME! If you’re not familiar with World of Warcraft (WOW) it is a multiplayer online role-playing game that is hugely popular. I have had many many friends, family members and one (ahem) husband who have spent countles hours playing WOW. There were few nods to WOW on their wedding day, so unique and a great conversation starter.
Bri and Paul exchanged vows and celebrated their love amongst their closest friends and family on House on the Hill on such a beautiful October day. I remember it being not too hot and not too cold. They also treated their guests to Slab BBQ during their reception, it’s always so much fun when an Austin food truck pulls up on site and serves you meals straight from the window.
This next photo of Bri’s mom watching the couple’s first look gets me every time. So much emotion in this photo!
Congratulations Bri and Paul! So so happy for you both!
