Erin and Zach’s wedding day was so much fun and their iconic venue was a total first for me, but more about that later. I wasn’t able to meet this couple before their wedding day but it definitely didn’t feel like it. From the moment I met both of them they were extremely warm and hilarious. I got such a kick out of the jokes they told amongst their closest friends and family while they were getting ready and always always love it when a bride and her bridesmaids insist that I have donuts and mimosas with them. What’s more, their sweet pooch was along for their big day and y’all all know how much I’m a lover of all things puppy dog.
Their ceremony and reception was at the iconic Kay Theater in Rockdale, Texas. The theater opened in 1947 and was revived in 2009. Since then its become a part of the community again. Nothing was cuter than having this beauty of a building in the background of bridal party portraits, I was in heaven. Despite the wedding being early in the day this crew got down on the dance floor. Zach has got some moves and I loved watching Erin and Zach dance the afternoon away surrounded by friends and family. Congratulations you two, I’m so happy to have been there to capture it all!!
