Ahhh where to begin, where to begin?! Brittney and Brendan’s wedding day was oh so special to me. I first met Brittney when she was a bridesmaid at her sister Macy’s wedding just five months prior, now it was her turn and homegirl pulled out all the stops. She was one of my most prepared, most hands on brides ever. Brittney and Brendan both had a very unique vision as far as decor and style went for their big day, they collected decor for months and had a U-haul transport it all from their home to the wedding venue. And I’m so glad they did, every corner had special details and attention paid to it. It was a site for the eyes to behold for sure! Together with the wonderful staff at Cypress Creek Event Center and Merci Bouquet Design they really pulled knocked it out of the park. I must have taken photos of everything twice because I didn’t want to miss a thing. Speaking of DIY goodness, Brendan is a very talented graphic designer and he designed the entire invitation suite + lots of other signage to go along with the boho theme. ‘Twas pretty magical!!
Everything from the first looks to the heartfelt ceremony and then the epic couples portraits at golden hour was sublime. I was on cloud nine and I know Brittney and Brendan were too. It was quite evident that they were both living the best day of their lives. The dance floor was hopping for hours and my favorite moment of the entire day was at the very end when Lizzo’s “Cuz I Love You” started playing right before the sparkler exit, Brittney and I shared the tightest hug and then belted out the words in unison with one another and I felt all the feels. Please pay special attention to the very last photo in this blog post, it basically sums it all up times a million.
I’m so beyond happy for this sweet couple!! And to make things even more exciting, they’re expecting a baby girl in the fall, talk about a busy and wonderful first year of marriage!
