I grew up next door to Karen and I used to babysit her from time to time and now she’s engaged and I can’t even stand it. Sometimes I feel old. Okay, enough about me, let’s talk about these dreamy photos and how much I love them and how fun they were to snap. Karen and Evan and their cute pooch were lovely subjects and my camera loved them…obviously.
Their engagement session was on the UT campus because that’s where they both attended undergrad and where they met. Plus that beautiful campus is chalk full of wonderful photo opportunities. Let’s get started, yeah?
PUPPPYYY!!!
I have two sets of favorite photos from the day. My first set of favs are below. I’m totally obsessed with the golden yellow blurs. Thanks yellow leaves in January, you done good!!
SWOOOON!!!!
Not even halfway into our session I asked the two of them if there was someplace on campus that was special to both of them. Whether it be a building they had lots of classes together in, a coffee shop, a courtyard, etc. They both looked at each other and pointed to a door right behind them and said, “oh we met in this classroom right here.” Um, I’m pretty awesome sometimes. I planted them in front of these doors because I enjoyed the symmetry, and voila, it just happens to be the classroom they met in. Zing!
Welcome to my other favorite photo from the sesh, the below kind of blows my socks off in all the right ways. I’m crazy in love with it.
🙂 🙂 🙂
Then we hustled over to the Blanton Museum where they’re always so gracious and allow us to take photos in front of their dreamy blue walls in the main lobby. LewChan’s first engagement session EVER took place in this room and I can never get enough.
Congratulations to the happy and sweet couple. I’m so happy for you Karen and Evan!!
