Kate told her best friend before she moved away from the Northeast to Dallas for work that she’d meet a really great guy through work and that instead of “Katie” he’d call her “Kate.” And that’s exactly what happened. Kate and Jared did in fact meet while at work, Jared was expecting to go to a meeting where the client would treat him to lunch and pitch their product, little did he know he’d meet a total hottie that was also smart and confident.
Together, Kate and Jared enjoy eating out around Austin and seeing live music. I’ve also never ever ever ever met a couple who love their dogs more than these two. Kate and Jared both grew up with daschunds in their family homes so it only made sense to have two of their own. Rube Belle Sorrel and Hazel Nut also made an appearance at their parents’ engagement session. They are such fun pooches and I don’t think they’ll ever realize how lucky they are to have two humans who spoil them as much as Kate and Jared do. When Ruby and Hazel walked down the aisle after the ceremony for family photos no one could contain their excitement, they were even donning matching pink dresses.
Kate and Jared said “I do” beneath the mighty oaks at Vista West Ranch in Dripping Springs, Texas. I always adore shooting at this venue because of the many gorgeous backdrops for photos. The glamorous ballroom was decked out in fall and pumpkin grandeur, it was perfect for late October. Also perfect that day (at least I thought so) was the weather, it was coolllddd but I think it was really well welcomed, it was a fall wedding after all!
Two days after their epic wedding day Kate and Jared jet setted to the Caribbean to enjoy some R&R on the beach for a week 🙂 Congratulations Jared and Kate, I’m so happy to have captured your gorgeous wedding day!!
