I just love this couple. From the get go they’ve been so enthusiastic and I can tell that they have so much faith and trust in my work. They make me feel good. Lauren and Chris reached out to me a handful of months ago to photograph their upcoming October wedding at Camp Lucy. I immediately loved them during our Skype call and couldn’t wait to work with them.
Lauren and Chris met while attending law school at the University of Texas, they both are now practicing lawyers in Dallas. While neither of them hail from Austin, this city is dear to them because it’s where they met and went to school together. They love eating and drinking around town and enjoying everything Austin has to offer. Tying the knot here was a no brainer and I’m so stoked for their beautiful wedding day.
One balmy Friday not too long ago they made a trip to Austin to do some “wedding stuff.” On the top of their list was engagement photos! The weather forecast predicted rain for their e-session day and we were all a bit nervous, especially since they had reserved the ever gorgeous Jennifer’s Gardens for their location. I had been DYING to photograph at this central Austin oasis that you’d never guess was smack dab in the middle of the city. Low and behold, the weather forecast was wrong and we enjoyed warmth and even sunshine during their session. We were all thrilled and Lauren and Chris are even more lovable in person…plus they’re both super attractive people, my camera loved them!
