Kathrine + Jamie

Kathrine and Jamie’s wedding day was so energetic and full of life. That’s what you get when you get married on a Saturday evening in downtown Austin, Texas. The city was full of life and and so is this couple. It was such a treat walking around town with these two lovebirds for portraits and hearing the joy and excitement from strangers and passersby. So many people stopped to applaud, cheer, and honk their horns to wish the couple well. There were so many smiles had, it was so wonderful and everyone had a little extra hop in their step.

Kathrine and Jamie met while they were working together at Austin-Bergstrom International Aiport when they were adults despite growing up in the same neighborhood and had never met one another. Coincidences like these always blow my mind. They are both so genuine and caring, I could tell this from the first set of emails I exchanged with them and it was confirmed the first time I met them in person and I was treated to a cocktail while we chatted about their upcoming wedding. I even received a text from them that evening making sure I made it home okay!! Class act these two. One last brag…we were included on their seating chart the day of their wedding and they treated us to a delicious three course meal at Parkside where their wedding was held. I was blown away and so humbled by their generosity.
