I am beyond grateful Yvonne and Chris happened upon my portfolio of work when they were shopping around for wedding photographers. I met them at the coffee shop of a Whole Foods and I enjoyed their company from the get go. They’re both very easy to talk to, they have a great sense of humor that compliments one another, and it’s apparent how much they adore each other.
Yvonne and Chris met through Yvonne’s sister when Chris was one of her coworkers. Yvonne’s sister made sure they both attended a group event where several of their friends saw a movie together. Chris and Yvonne made sure to sit next to one another and chatted the entire movie. This was all back when Chris was still living and working in Waco, he’s since relocated to Houston to work for…wait for it…NASA! I can’t say I’ve ever met anyone who’s worked for NASA so I’m endlessly fascinated by this and asked Chris probably way too many questions about what it was like to work there. Thanks for answering all my questions Chris!
These two lovebirds have a passion for adventure and reality TV. Chris was on season II of King of Nerds and is also a member of Mensa. What?!? Okay, but back to reality television and adventuring, the day after their engagement session they competed in a city wide Adventure Hunt in Austin. They’re also huge fans of the show The Amazing Race and hope to one day appear on the show and obviously win 😉 The Amazing Race is also one of my favorite shows so we had tons to talk about.
I’m so beyond excited to photograph their upcoming wedding at Canyonwood Ridge this coming July!
