Meet Allie and Evan everyone! They’re a beautiful couple who met at Baylor University while completing their undergrad. After school they endured years of long distance but love always finds a way and I was so happy to celebrate their union this early summer at Georgetown’s always lovely Union on Eighth right off the main square.
I first met Allie and Evan during their initial consultation with me and then again at their engagement session a few months later. I was struck by their giddiness and the ever present laughter amongst them. These days Evan and Allie are living and working in the Houston area. A huge congrats to Allie for finishing nursing school and entering such a wonderful profession.
Some take aways from Allie and Evan’s big day was when Allie saw her dad for the first time right before he walked her down the aisle, I remember him releasing a choked up, “My baby girl!” as he entered the room and watching the two of them embrace and bury their faces into one another. Also, Evan and Allie’s ceremony was so light and full of laughter. Later during the reception Evan said, “You’ve all seen me cry now, so I feel like we’ll always share that.” And cry he did, it was so sweet watching him bear his raw emotions as the woman of his dreams walked towards him to solidify their relationship. After which their pastor knew he had to inject some humor into the ceremony…everyone in attendance was laughing the entire time, you’ll see 😉
Congratulations Allie and Evan, so happy for the two of you!!
