Photographing engagement sessions and anything really these days is a little bit different. We’re in a pandemic, there is no hugging, there is no getting close to my clients to help fix their hair or adjust a certain pose. Thankfully, that hasn’t seemed to matter lately and it definitely didn’t matter when I was working with Ally and Shane recently at their engagement session. They showed up bright eyed and bushy tailed and ready to capture gorgeous sunset photos together. Ally came prepared with a fan and a sweat cloth just in case cuz we’re in Texas y’all and the heat does not play.
Ally and Shane met while attending UT through their friends. They saw a lot of one another while attending Greek social events with their fraternity brothers and sorority sisters. It’s fitting that they’re getting married on campus at the AT&T Center where it all began. It will be the perfect spot to sneak away and get bridal party photos in front of the Littlefield Fountain with the tower in the background. I seriously can’t wait for their April 2021 wedding!
Together this duo enjoys time on the lake with their friends and family and playing with their new pup Odin. The future is bright for Ally and Shane and I can’t wait to work with them during this exciting chapter in their lives!!
