Amanda and Devin

It’s a crime that I’ve kept this wedding from my blog for this long. This wedding was just lovely and it was our last of 2014. Amanda and Devin’s big day was gorge and they helped LewChan go out with a bang.

There’s just something wonderful about a red, white and gold color palette, especially when Christmas is still in the air…

They were married at one of my favorite venues in Austin, The Allan House. It’s chalk full of Southern Charm and vintage details.

Amanda has hair FOR DAYS. I could not get over her long, luxurious tresses. Insanely beautiful!!!

Another thing I loved about this bride and groom duo, they loved to laugh and holy moly were they crazy about one another!!! The day was full of PDA and smooching, just what I like to see from newlyweds 🙂 🙂 side note: while I was taking their bride and groom portraits Amanda and I discovered we graduated from the same high school, Go Westwood Warriors!!

Always crazy about some long, crimson gowns of all different styles. Brides listen up…let your maids choose their own dresses. They’ll love you for it and you’ll guarantee that your girls look their best in a dress they’re fully comfortable in.

THEN I convinced the newlyweds to sneak off with me and catch the last few rays of sunlight. They happily obliged and I’m so glad they did!! I have to admit it was kind of fun trekking through obscure alleys and sidewalks just to take advantage of small slivers of sunlight 😉

At this point Alex and I are conniousseurs of catered wedding food. We’ve seen it all now. This wedding had my favorite food of all time. CUBAN AND INDIAN FOOD. I was in catered food heaven. Alex was jealous since I shot this wedding solo, mwahahaha.
