OMG what a sweet couple Emily and Aaron are. I could go on for days and days about how kind and genuine they are and still not have done them justice. Let’s just say this, they’re DREAM clients and they made my job so incredibly easy and enjoyable I could cry. Emily and Aaron met while working together at Amazon…throughout the day there were sarcastic “Thanks Jeff Bezos!” comments that made me laugh!
Emily and Aaron had their fairytale wedding at the gorgeous Barr Mansion! I’ve photographed so many weddings at this historic property I’ve lost count but each one is unique and I’m reminded again and again how lucky I am to be doing what I’m doing!! Since they were saying “I do” in late October there were nods to fall with white pumpkins throughout. Floral Fetish transformed Barr’s ballroom into something I’ve never seen before at this venue, it was shockingly beautiful and y’all will think so too when you see the photos below.
Some of my favorite moments of this wedding day was after the ceremony when we had the couple all to ourselves for golden hour “Husband and Wife” portraits and Emily exclaimed, “This is the fun part, I’m having the best time!” SQUEEEE I love a couple who is invested in their photography and want to have their photo taken rather than rushing through them as a formality. We had so much time worked into the timeline for photos before and after the ceremony and you can really tell when you see their final gallery. So many photos, so much gorgeous light, so many genuine smiles!!!! Oh and lastly, Emily and Aaron have a Goldendoodle named Charlie who was a part of photos (heaven!)…marking my FOURTH Goldendoodle to have at a wedding in just the month of October alone. I pinch myself sometimes, haha!!
Congratulations to Emily and Aaron, two of the world’s best people found each other. Y’all are such a delight!!
