Grace + Michael

Grace and Michael’s wedding really couldn’t have been more beautiful. I knew it was going to be a showstopper ever since capturing their engagement portraits months before their wedding. You can see those here 😉

The pair is oh so sweet and man oh man did I love talking to them. Michael is an assistant principal in AISD and Grace is a nurse, both are working hard to make our community a better place. Their gorgeous wedding day started at Riverbend Church off of 360 on THE MOST PERFECT fall day that ever existed. It was perfectly crisp outside with the bluest sky and so much sunlight. Grace and Michael had a first look and allotted for so much time for portraits within their timeline. There was over 2 hours for portraits before and after their ceremony, which I LOVED. I have so many photographs of their beautiful faces and I couldn’t be happier about it.

After their ceremony we all met at Salt Lick Pecan Grove for more sunset portraits and an amazing after party. I don’t know if it was the delicious barbecue from Salt Lick, the open bar, or the amazing tunes from the DJ but it was hands down one of the best receptions we’ve photographed in a long time. I spoke with Alex about it on the car ride home and the one word we both used to describe it was “Joy.” There was so much joy and amusement on everyone’s face…every person, you’ll see. I love me some smiling dancers at a wedding!
