Katy + Adam | Rockin’ Y Ranch, Austin, Texas | April 8, 2017

I’ve been loving my east coast couples lately and Katy and Adam are no different. Katy and Adam currently live in New York City with their lovable/adorable/sweet pup T-Bone. They wanted a sunny, spring wedding with some Texas charm thrown in and boy did they get just that. Katy and Adam’s big day was so full of color, energy, and Texas flare…I watched in awe as they met every guest and experience with a smile, they just drank it all in, all the while gazing lovingly at one another.

Katy and Adam met one another in a dessert line at Columbia University in NYC and I can’t get over how perfect that story is. They paid homage to their first meeting with desserts on top of dessert options for their guests. There were sweet, bite-sized morsels for days…it was heaven. I also adored how T-Bone, their mild-mannered pup, just wandered around the festivities and ceremony all day long. It was so cute and he was so well-behaved. I would have taken him home with me if I could, too bad his humans love him with ALL the love. It’s so cute how you can see him scattered throughout all their wedding photos. A favorite moment for me was when he was stealing sweet buns off the catering trays and running around the cocktail hour with so much pride. Another favorite moment was at the very beginning of the day. I had just arrived and was schlepping through the parking lot with all my equipment and Katy (with rollers in her hair) walked down the driveway with open arms and gave me the biggest hug. Girl really knows how to make ya feel welcome 😉
