Now I don’t say this lightly…I absolutely LOVED Kayeleigh and David’s wedding. Love Love Loved it! I first met Kayeleigh and David last summer during our consult. It was when we were sipping iced coffees that they told me about their crazy med school schedules (they’re both doctors now) and divulged their wedding day plans to me. Everything sounded perfect and I crossed my fingers they would hire me to capture their big day. It was when I met them in Georgetown one (almost) stormy morning for their engagement session that I fell in love with this couple. I adore their sarcasm and quick wit.
The week leading up to their wedding day heavy rain was predicted on their big day, it did not look promising. But alas, the day of there wasn’t anything but sunshine and we were all so thrilled. Kayeleigh and David tied the knot at Ian’s Chapel on Camp Lucy’s beautiful property. Their day was spectacular and filled with so much laughter and love. Kayeleigh’s timeline was seamless and I couldn’t have been happier with the amount of time I had to capture portraits and key moments. There were THREE opportunities on their wedding day to capture just bride and groom portraits, so much love for that!! More unique moments that I adored from their wedding…Kayeleigh enlisted her four adorable grandmothers to be her flower girls. I had never seen this before and it was basically the best idea ever. I died over how cute it was. There was also a fantastic mariachi band and I made sure to have them serenade the couple as I took photo after photo after photo. So much fun! Check out these lookers!!
Congratulations to Dr. Higgerson and Dr. Valadez!!!
