I met with Laura and her lovely mom 15 months before their wedding day, I LOVE when a couple seeks me out and books me way far in advance. It shows me they’re decisive and that they care about their wedding photos. I LOVE IT. Laura and Dean also sought out one of the most lovely spaces in the Austin area for their big day, Prospect House, you cannot go wrong with this place and any day I shoot there is beautiful and flawless. Laura and Dean’s wedding day was no different. I’m so taken by their bright, colorful and modern wedding photos.
Laura’s entire family hails from Scotland and there was a high concentration of kilts and fancy Sunday hats in attendance. I was in heaven!! I love it when there’s a splash of culture at any wedding! Laura and Dean chose simple and intentional details and I was all about it. This duo floated throughout their big day with such grace and calmness, their love for each other was evident. Once they saw each other during the first look nerves were eased and they both relaxed and were able to enjoy their celebration to the fullest.
