Sometimes everything just clicks. This was totally one of those shoots for us! The weather was so incredibly beautiful, our subjects were super friendly and super photogenic, and the light was PERFECTION. You may notice that so many of the photos have such a warm glow, it’s because we were shooting during the magic hour. Yup, there is such a thing.
Anyway, meet Laura and Jay, they’re first time parents expecting baby Elliott in mid June! We had so much fun taking their photos, they were up for anything and are also fellow Mad Men fans. So we had bunches and bunches to talk about 🙂
I think it’s safe to say that Jay is totally crazy about his wife and future mom to be!
Remember I mentioned how fun these two were…proof. It was a laugh fest. Just how we like it!
So um Laura, while Alex and I were going through these photos we kept commenting how you look stellar in ALL OF THEM. You don’t take a bad picture sweet heart!
I’m kind of obsessed with that above one.
This shoot was one of the few times Alex and I were able to take photos in and around rock island in Zilker Park without worrying about hundreds of people being in the photos. This place is usually packed…we lucked out.

This dog. HAHAHAHA. Totally photo bombed in the most dramatic of ways, she dove straight for their faces. I could not stop laughing.
Jay’s specs are pretty cool aren’t they? I think Alex should get a similar pair 🙂
