Subina + Chris – June 18, 2011

Engagement

Are you ready for some of our best work to date? Alex and I had a ball during our photo shoot with friends Subina and Chris. They were celebrating their 3rd wedding anniversary and called the kids at LewChan to capture this special time for them…still newly weds, yet so in tune with each other. Come along for this photo shoot of PURE AWESOME!

We started the shoot off outside of Art Garage on South Lamar. This place was a treasure trove for inventive photography.

P.S. Thanks Chris for cleaning out this claw foot…huge help you are!

Did I mention it was 105 degrees outside? You wouldn’t notice with these shots…

The shadow puppets were all their idea. Love it.

By the looks of these next two you’d think we were in Havana. Love the sultriness.

Thank you Chris and Subina for trying any and everything we threw at you guys. Your willingness to trust us is what made this shoot superb.

Then it was time for a quick outfit change and a new location just a few blocks down the street at Opa! Chris is half Greek…so yeah, Opa!

Cuutee.

Then it was time for our last location of the day…we hit up Zilker Park where we struck gold, pure photo gold.

Can we just take a moment to talk about how beautiful Subina is? Those eyes…that skin tone. Gah. Oh and Chris, you’re not so bad yourself kid.

If this pair ever starts a country band they’ve got their album cover taken care of.

I don’t know if you guys can tell just how windy it was…balloons and hair were blowing around like crazy. But you’d never guess with the serene feel these photos take on. Also this next one, JACKPOT.

Oh and this new photo technique/idea is just blowing our minds lately, I can’t get enough. I think LewChan did pretty well for their first stab at it…

This shoot had such a high energy level which is shocking considering that before they even came to the shoot they ran 5.5 miles and did Black Swan yoga on paddle boards. Troopers.

Subina and Chris thanks so much for helping us create some of our best work to date. You guys rock!
